Keith and I wanted to share some photos from our weekend
(September 27th, 2003) trip to Maine. We saw 10 lights in all starting with Whitlock
Mill Light in Calais, West and East Quoddy Light, Prospect Harbor Light, Bass
Island Light, Portland Breakwater Light, Portland Head Light (our favorite)
and Nubble. We had only been to the last two before. The unique thing about
West Quoddy was the rare occasion to see the tower being painted, so the
usually red stripes were gray. The fog made for some strained views of some
of the lights but awesome photo opportunities. We'll have to go back to view
them again!
