The following is some information about our club:

New England Lighthouse Lovers (NELL)

Is a New England based, not for profit, lighthouse organization dedicated to:

  • Learning more about lighthouse and maritime history through educational meetings, programs and site visits.
  • Raising funds to help preserve and restore New England lighthouses and other maritime sites and encourage volunteerism in the preservation and restoration process.

  • Encouraging the appreciation of lighthouses in maritime history and how their representational models aid in the preservation of this history.


    • Membership is open to anyone ages 6 and up.

    Annual dues are:
    ● $50 Business / Corporate / Organization
    Contributing Member[s]:
    Individual or Family
    ● $50 Assistant Keepers[s]
    ● $100 Keeper[s]
    ● $200 Inspector[s]
    ● Other - Commissioner[s]

    ● $10 Junior - age 6 through 17
    ● $20 one adult - age 18+
    ● $30 two adults in same household (must be same household, no exceptions)
    ● $40 Family - 1 or 2 adults & children under 18
    ● $500 Life Member - Individual Lifetime - $800 Two Adults in same household (must be same household, no exceptions)

    New members will receive a 50% reduction (excluding life memberships) if joining after June 30th and they also pay the following years dues at the same time, or a $5.00 reduction if dues are paid for the current year only. New members joining after October 31st will be considered to have paid dues thru the following year.

    Please Note: Dues paid to NELL are not tax deductible. The U.S. Master Tax Guide states; "No deduction is allowed for dues paid to any club organized for business, pleasure, recreation, or other social purposes".
